Known as the “Big Sky” State, Montana is a awesome place to plan a family vacation. Montana has some of the best fishing, hunting, and camping grounds, as well as three of the five entrances to yellowstone. While on your Montana Vacation and don’t forget the Must see sights.

Beartooth Highway also the “All-American” highway is the highest elevation highway in the Northern Rockies. Due to the enormous snow fall in the area, the Beartooth highway is only open seasonally from May to October. While driving down the road its not uncommon to pass through areas where there are snow wall 3-4 times higher than your vehicle. It is said to be like going through a maze and is quite a sight.

This road was built to provide Yellowstone Park access From the Billings and is about 60 miles of breath taking experience. Beartooth comes from the Crow Indian description of the geologic formation in a range. Beartooth is now in the top ten scenic drives in the Northern Rockies.

Stillwater Valley: the Stillwater Valley is located in the south central part of Montana. Some of the main geographical feature includes the Beartooth Absaroka Wilderness area, the Stillwater and Yellowstone River valleys and the lake basin, coulees and rolling plains at the Northern end of Stillwater County. On a historical note, you can follow much of Lewis and Clarks exploration of Montana through this area. On their return trip in 1806 Clarks return through Reed Point, Columbus, and Park City and view the Pompeys Pillar National Historic Monument, the only surviving physical evidence of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Absarokee: Absarokee is a small town at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains that is known for its hiking, fishing, camping and outdoor activities.

Columbus: Columbus is in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, along with great fishing, and for camping you can check out the “Museum of the Beartooths” which contains memorabilia of the Rosebud River Crow Indians, Northern Pacific railroad and World War ll history. Other activities include boating and water sports at Cooney Dam.

Billings: billings has a large number of exciting things that are fun to do.. Like the Northern Pacific Depot, MetraPark, Boothill Cemetery and Monument, Black otter trail, Yellowstone Kelleys Grave, Yellowstone county museum, Yellowstone art museum, Alberta Bair Theater, Moss Mansion, and the Western Heritage Center.

An item of historical interest, the Boothill Cemetary and monument is the final resting place for Muggins Taylor, the scout who first carried the news of Custer’s last stand to the world.

The Yellowstone county museum in Billings is also a must see destination. There is the landmarks gallery which has national and international artists. There is also the Landmarks Gallery which exhibits artwork of local national and international artists.

The National art museum is a nationally accredited art museum with both contemporary and historic changing exhibitions. You will find exhibits of paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, prints and photography. You will also find the comprehensive works of the cowboy illustrator Will James.

Costa Blanca is of course part of the Spanish coastline and there are actually a hell of a lot of things to do in the area if you know what to look for, if you do not then here are just a few things you might like to try the next time you are out there.

Enjoy the coast

One of the main things to do along this area of the country is to of course enjoy the coastline and why not!. You really need a couple of days in this area to truly know these beaches are and make sure you get out on the sea too. Also ensure that you are getting there in the morning to ensure you have a perfect spot for the day. Don’t forget that Costa Blanca stands for white coast and this is exactly why you need to go there.

Wildlife

There are so many things to do when it comes to wildlife in the area that is Costa Blanca and this is what you should head off to do next. If water creatures are your thing then head to the Mundomar theme park as it houses things like Dolphin shows, sea lions and of course massive aquarium. If you are into your Safari animals then perhaps you could go to Aitana because you will see animals such as tigers and elephants. If you are up for something a bit more daring then head to Vergel as this is a driving safari where animals such as wolves and lions are allowed to roam free.

There are so many other things to do including markets and expeditions which of course is great and you should think about staying in a private villa Spain . If this is not something for you then look no further than Torquay hotels and self catering Torquay as these will satisfy your needs in the United Kingdom.
