What is your ideal vacation?

Mostly people from the UK go to Europe for a heavy weekend away, as it is cheaper and also has better weather. Heavy weekend meaning weekend which is full of drinks, sun and dancing. That is all and nothing else. They like to go to hot places because there is hardly any sunshine in the UK. There places such as Barcelona, Mallorca, Ibiza, Istanbul and Athens full of British tourists. We just love going to Spain, Greece and Turkey. Whereas some people enjoy a long trip to the Caribbean islands in a luxury cruise.

To be honest with you age factor comes in play when choosing the holidays. It has been said that young people like going to places where they can enjoy fabulous night outs, nice beach and other outdoor activities. Whereas people with family like to go to different places where not only they can enjoy but so can their children: an example would be Paris or Florida for Disney land. There is nothing wrong with this Disney land can be fun for adults too as I have been there and I had a fantastic time.

When you are young you have no responsiblities so you can go to any sort of holiday with your friends and have a great time drinking, dancing or doing something else. I am 43 now with 2 kids and to be honest these days I prefer somewhere quite or a lovely cruise holiday to Bahamas but my children insist we should go to Disney land every year I don’t think I can handle the rides nowadays. We have been on MSC cruises and Windstar cruises in the past and they were fantastic.

The Himalayas

There are various holiday options for you to choose from cruises to trekking in the Himalayas and also a glamorous destination. Some are looking for just a weekend away and some are looking for a cheap holiday to a destination where they can go on a holiday and also visit their family members. As there are so many options it is definitely hard for us to choose the right holiday.

In this post I will be talking about two most exotic holidays. One a trekking holiday to the Himalayas and another the glamorous trip to Bahamas in awesome princess cruises. Already you are thinking, what a tough choice this is. You are thinking shall I and view the Himalayas in countries like Nepal and New Zealand, where I can not only enjoy the mountain view but also the white river rafting experience or shall I choose a glamorous cruising holiday to the Bahamas or the Caribbean.

These two vacation should definitely be experienced by you at least once in your lifetime. Nepal has always been a great destination for trekking in the Himalayas and white river rafting. Its beautiful landscape and amazing hill stations have attracted people for last 50 years. White River rafting and the Himalayas are definitely the main two reasons why Nepal has attracted millions of people from different parts of the World. As I have travelled to over 60 countries from my experience I can also say the hospitality is also one of the best in the World. Most people visit Nepal just to try it’s traditional foods such as Momo, Chowela and other special foods. The Momo food shop is in every road more likely in Kathmandu so you won’t have to look far for this. The Caribbean Islands have attracted millions and millions of people from different parts of the World. The biggest attractions in the Caribbean are the weather and the beaches. There are some stunning islands such as St. Lucia & Saint. Vincent where you will be able to spend a weekend away with peace and quiet with your family. How can you forget the Caribbean rum once you are there? Chilling under the beautiful sun in a stunning Royal Caribbean International Cruises and sipping on a beautiful Caribbean rum sounds just too good to miss out on for me.

I love travelling on my own as I won’t have too much responsibilities and enjoy the things in my own time. When travelling with family you have certain regulations that you will need to follow and won’t be able open yourself up and just be free. When you are alone and single you can do whatever you want, guys you know what I mean, but with family there are restrictions then you need think about before doing anything. That doesn’t mean doing something stupid or anything illegal.

What I mean by free is you don’t have to worry about booking a hotel if you are bag packing, you can easily camp out or live in a hotel. If you go with your family then you will have to plan everything before hand so that it doesn’t become a disaster holiday. 15 months ago I went on silversea cruises to Caribbean and I didn’t have to worry about the hotels because I just went with the flow and camped out with the Jamaicans. It was a great experience.

My next trip is surely going to be travelling to South East asian before I get married or settle down with someone. I will be travelling alone as this is will be a great opportunity for me to learn about different cultures and also learn a lot about myself and others. I am also planning to do some volunteer work in India and Nepal for a children’s charity. After that I can go back to my royal Caribbean cruises and rest for few weeks in the Caribbean with my wife to be.
