This festival actually covers a two day time period and it is such a moving festival to watch, many people will build up private alters containing items that the dead used to eat and like. This is all done to encourage visits by the souls of the dead so they can hear prayers and comments directed at them. 3000 years ago this festival is said to have formed.
Gondolas
Although people do not first think of Mexico when it comes to gondolas it would seem that it can be a key place to enjoy a nice ride. They can be hired to cruise the amazing tree-lined canals and floating gardens of Xochimilco.
Beaches
The beaches that can be found in Mexico are stunning to say the least and they are well worth a visit if you like to sit back and relax when on holiday.
