I love the idea of spending some time with family in the open air, however , the thought of sleeping in a tent definitely does not do a great deal for me. For starters there are night’s when my back simply cannot handle my king size bed at home. So, even the thought of spending the night lying on the ground, is just asking for lots of back pain the following day.

It was recommended to me a short time ago that I should look in to getting a recreational camper, which is something I didn’t want to do. Another suggestion was buying a camping cot for my tent. I must tell you that the outdoor cot did make the thought of sleeping outside in a tent something I wanted to try. Sleeping in a recreational camper was something I didn’t feel I would enjoy much, unless of course it was really cold out or there was bad weather. But, I was thinking I could get a good night sleep getting a camping cot inside my tent, And with obtaining restful sleep at night that will mean no back pain the following day.

Camping cots for the tent could be straight forward, or rather complex. What you get would depend on what your needs are. You can get yourself a cot which sets up far off the floor if you have a huge tent. And if you suffer from back problems, you don’t want one that is to low to the ground. For those who have a small tent, and how high it sits off the floor matters not to you, then you can have camping cots that are only a few inches off the floor. You will get a restful sleep and save space inside your tent.

There is a whole lot to choose from when looking to purchase a camping cot for your tent. You will find individual cots that are made for one individual, or you may get a large enough one to share with your partner or buddy.

Some frames are designed really sturdy with a simple canvass that will help support all your body, and you can find some people that use a blow up feature so to give you even more comfort. Many people also use hammocks, but that could be hard sleeping outside with no tent to help protect you at night. If you do choose a hammock, keep it in close proximity to your tent in case there is bad weather.
